Know exactly where you stand with AI — and what to do next.
A three-week, evidence-based Adoption Assessment of how AI is really used in your business, what to fix first, what it could be worth, and a practical ninety-day plan—not another self-report score from one person.
Who it is for
Owners and leaders of businesses with roughly ten to two hundred fifty people who have taken the free readiness check—or want a validated picture before investing in platforms, training, or implementation. Delivery is principal-led—you meet who runs kickoff and the workshop.
Indicative fee band
USD 7,500–16,000 fixed fee (typical)
Standard three-week Adoption Assessment for organisations roughly 10–100 staff: kickoff, six to eight interviews, anonymous staff survey, prioritisation, validation workshop, and written report. Larger or multi-site scopes are scoped in writing before you sign. When your SOW states it, Assessment fees can credit toward a Quick Start or workflow sprint started within 60 days.
Indicative only—not a quote until you receive a written proposal and SOW.
Founding Assessment clients — limited early slots; optional anonymised metric later with your approval.
What happens over three weeks
The engagement follows three phases—discover how work runs, prioritise where AI fits with safeguards, then decide on a ninety-day plan you co-own with us:
- Week 0 — Discover (kickoff) — Agree outcomes in writing; carry forward your free check (we do not repeat the same nineteen questions).
- Week 1 — Discover (evidence) — Sponsor and frontline interviews (six to eight), anonymous staff survey, and a simple map of where time and quality risk sit in your operations.
- Week 2 — Prioritise — Atomic workflow steps, adoption scoring, impact/effort matrix, and indicative ROI ranges—not hype numbers.
- Week 3 — Decide — Validation workshop with leadership, written report, ninety-day roadmap, and clear next steps—including “pause until safeguards” when that is the honest answer.
What you receive
- Validated adoption stage compared with your self-assessment from the free check
- Readiness scorecard with team evidence—not guesswork
- Risk and finding register with owners and first fixes
- Workflow integration map: where AI fits steps you already run
- High-level operations map showing where time and quality risk concentrate
- Prioritised opportunities (impact vs effort), validated with your team in workshop
- Indicative business case with savings ranges you agree on—not guaranteed ROI
- Ninety-day adoption roadmap and workshop record
- Clear recommendation on next steps—including “stop until safeguards” when that is honest
Complete process and deliverables on the home page, plus a redacted sample report (illustrative—not a client testimonial).
Safeguards before scale
Most audits list “AI opportunities.” We plot each one with a safeguard gate—so automation is not recommended when review or policy is not ready.
See a redacted sample matrix with gates marked, or read our methodology on findings.
How we audit workflows (seven steps)
The Assessment is an evidence-based adoption review, not a generic “AI everywhere” pitch. We use a consistent sequence—aligned with how experienced AI consultants run discovery—mapped to our three-week plan and safeguard rules:
- Outcomes — Agree what “good” looks like (time saved, quality, risk down)—in writing at kickoff.
- Map reality — Interviews and survey: how work flows today, not the process diagram in a drawer.
- Atomic steps — Break priority workflows into steps; note time, tools, and handoffs (“then what happens?”).
- AI fit — For each step: structured inputs, predictable outputs, rules, frequency, and required human review.
- Prioritise — Impact vs effort matrix; quick wins vs “fix safeguards first.”
- Indicative ROI — Hours and cost ranges you can defend internally—not hype numbers.
- Roadmap & validation — Ninety-day plan plus a leadership workshop to confirm priorities with your team.
Your free check result feeds week 0—we do not repeat the same nineteen questions. See methodology: workflow to atomic steps.
What we need from you
- A sponsor who can decide and an owner who can run day-to-day coordination
- Six to eight people for interviews (about thirty to forty-five minutes each)
- Staff survey sent to your team (about five to ten minutes each; anonymous)
- Access to relevant policies, tool lists, and one or two priority workflows
- A technical contact for accounts and integrations—we complement your IT, we do not replace it
Free check vs Adoption Assessment
Investment
Fixed fee for the three-week Assessment (confirm current range on your discovery call—we quote in writing before work starts). When you start a Quick Start or Workflow Implementation Sprint with us within the agreed window, Assessment fees can credit toward that build work—only if you want that, and only as stated in your proposal.
Confidentiality and the staff survey
We treat client materials as confidential. The staff survey is anonymous: we do not break down results for groups smaller than five people. Survey framing is an amnesty for learning—not monitoring individuals. Engagement data is handled under our proposal terms and your jurisdiction’s privacy expectations; we are consultants, not your lawyers.
Common questions
-
How much time does this take our people?
About thirty to forty-five minutes each for six to eight interviewees, plus five to ten minutes per person for the staff survey. Your sponsor joins kickoff and a two-hour workshop.
-
Do you build automations or AI workflows for us?
The Assessment is an evidence-based audit—interviews, survey, maps, safeguard gates, and a workshop where you co-sign priorities. We do not sell “wire up our automations” as the first engagement. Build, Quick Start, and pilots are optional only after you have clarity.
-
Do we have to hire you for build work afterwards?
No. You keep the findings. Build, Quick Start, or retainer work is optional and only if you choose it.
-
What if we are at an early stage?
Stage 0–1 organisations often use the Assessment to get visibility and a safe starting plan—not to buy platforms on day one.
-
Can you work with our IT provider?
Yes. We expect a technical contact for accounts and integrations and work alongside your IT or MSP.
